Architect and artist Naziha Mestaoui has passed away aged 44 after suffering from a rare disease, Reads a Facebook post.
“Dear all, with infinite sadness I share with you the departure of ❤️Naziha❤️ for the Forest of the Beautiful Souls of Paradise. Last night, Wednesday the 29 of April. She dedicated her life to Light, to the human being, to Nature, Life and LOVE.
She was and will remain a Light for this world” reads the statement.
Very devoted to the environment, she became recognised in particular with the operation “One Heart One Tree” (“A heart, a tree”) that was designed in 2015 at the COP21 in Paris. The Eiffel Tower had then been reconstructed into a virtual forest.
