The General Tunisian Labor Union (UGTT) denounced the “unjustified” police violence, exercised against the supervisors and during their peaceful rally.
The UGTT deemed this to be is a desire from the authorities to return to the era of police repression, which draws a menace to freedoms. It also called for the important measures to be taken against those who commanded the assault, as well as the use of tear gas against the demonstrators.
