Tunisia-[Video] Hichem Ajbouni: Some political parties profit from violence at parliament

MP Hichem Ajbouni announced today’s plenary session was dedicated to the examination of the economic recovery bill.

He affirmed that the bill was approved in September 2020. Nevertheless, given the speciality of the socio-economic situation worsened by the Coronaviruspecificity s pandemic, the deputies chose to assess the project N ° 104 / 2020.

Remarking on the adjournment of the plenary session and the verbal encounters that took place today, Ajbouni told Tunisie Numérique that parliament Vice-President Samira Chaouachi blocked MP Amal Saidi from talking at the plenary session.

Denouncing this act, the MP said that some political parties backed by Rached Ghannouchi take advantage of the violence in Parliament by referring to the Al Karama Coalition.

“Regarding the decline of the health situation in the country, the democratic bloc attempted to organize a plenary session in the presence of the Minister of Health, the Minister of Commerce and the Minister of Justice,” he said while emphasising that prime minister Hichem Mechichi escaped his responsibilities.
