In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, democratic bloc MP Leila Hadded emphasised that the most crucial thing is not whether or not an early election is held.
According to the deputy, the most critical thing is to amend the electoral law and the laws that direct the political scene in general, evoking the offences and the suspicious funding of electoral campaigns and sponsored pages that have been identified by the Court of accounts.
Leila Hadded stated there is no point in holding new elections if these laws are not revoked.
She further said that the behaviour of the Tunisian voter needs also changes. He must no longer agree to sell his vote to parties or electoral lists.
