The House of People’s Representatives approved this Tuesday Bill No. 40/2023 promulgating exceptional provisions involving exemption from national service. This project provides for the exceptional exemption from national service for nationals born before January 1, 2000.
As a reminder, in Tunisia, young men are called up for one year of military service under the flag from the age of 20. National military service concerns between 50,000 and 60,000 young people per year for 5,000 dinars per person.
