Ennahda is not the sole controller in the scene neither it cannot change the rule of the games by itself, People’s Movement secretary-general Zouhaier Maghzaoui told Jawhara FM.
They are attempting to fool public opinion that they are in control, pointing out that the constitution is clear and that whoever desires to overthrow the government must secure 109 votes in Parliament or the prime minister must resign, he added.
Regarding the motion of withdrawing confidence from House speaker Rached Ghannouchi, Maghzaoui said that this is due the paralysis that has hit the parliament and not advancing its work. He firmly denied that the goal was to put pressure on the Islamic party to reverse the decision to withdraw confidence from the prime minister.
