Tunisia-Zouhair Maghzaoui:“We support decision to dismiss Minister of Transport” [Video]

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Secretary-General of the People’s Movement, Zouhair Maghzaoui, noted today, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, that it is no secret to anyone that the situation of the transportation sector in Tunisia, particularly Grand Tunis, is a miserable situation that is not worthy of humankind.

Maghzaoui added that the transport sector has been exposed during the past years, like other public sectors, to several problems such as attempts at neglectfulness and others, remarking that they support the decision to dismiss the Minister of Transport as he believed that this minister did nothing and did not follow up on any of the private issues in this important sector.

He stressed that this decision is insufficient, noting the necessity to develop a clear plan and allocate the required funds to reform the transportation sector in Tunisia through the acquisition of new means of transportation, renewal of the fleet, and the recruitment of employees.
