Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi spoke today, Saturday, March 13, 2021, by phone with the chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council Mohammad Menfi to felicitate him after the Libyan government obtained the confidence of parliament on March 10.
Hichem Mechichi expressed the wish to see “the relationships between the two neighbouring nations evolve at the level of a strategic partnership, in the interest of the two peoples”.
Mohammad Menfi, for his part, underscored his country’s desire to intensify relations and trade with Tunisia, evoking that “Tunisians have a privileged place with their Libyan neighbours”.
