The Supreme Court of the United States has rejected the Texas-led lawsuit challenging election results in four key battleground states which manifested President-elect Joe Biden as the winner.
The highest court rejected the legal effort by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin over “lack of standing under Article III of the Constitution.”
The lawsuit was backed by sitting President Donald Trump who declines to concede election loss and proceeds to demand the ballots be recounted over alleged widespread voter fraud.
