United Kingdom Health Minister Sajid Javid said in an interview on Tuesday that the government will start with the initial sanctions measures against Russia. Specifically, he stated: “I reckon it might very well just be a slap on the wrist – for now at least.”
“We have seen that (Vladimir Putin) has recognized these breakaway eastern regions in Ukraine, and from the reports we can already tell that he has sent in tanks and troops. From that, you can conclude that the invasion of Ukraine has begun,” Javid also told Sky News.
