The United States has announced 65,551 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the toll of infections to 3,111,902, according to
Johns Hopkins University tally.
The data recorded 916 new deaths, taking the death toll to 133,195, while the total number of recoveries hit 969,111.
