The US State Department has reportedly rejected Libyan Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Dbaiba’s request for an official visit to the United States, noting inappropriate timing. Rather, the US advised Dbaiba to focus on preparations for upcoming elections and the formation of a government to facilitate the electoral process in Libya.
