Zelensky tells Ukrainians to save

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his latest video address called on Ukrainian citizens to decreasethe use of electrical power to avoid further blackouts as Russia targets the country’s energy infrastructure with missiles.

He said energy companies in some areas of Ukraine will have to limit the supply of electricity to keep the system running. The leader implored residents of all regions to limit electricity consumption during peak hours, from 5 pm to 11 pm.

“Please do more – if you have the opportunity,” Zelensky said. “This is a step that, among others, will ensure the defeat of Russian terrorist plans.”
