A medical team in Sfax comprised of Dr Imed Frikha, Dr Ridha Nouri and Dr Lotfi Bouatour succeeded in implanting an Aortic Valve on a beating heart after creating a small incision in the chest with the assistance of a foreign medical team. The surgery was conducted on a 76-year-old patient, the patient is currently in good health.
