The Islamic State (ISIS) said on Friday it was behind the shooting that took place at the Crocus City Hall in the Moscow area.
The group shared it was targeting a “gathering of Christians in the city and subsequently withdrew to their hideouts safely,” according to a statement cited by the Amaq News Agency. Meanwhile, Ria Novosti reported, citing a photo it obtained, that the perpetrators were able to escape in a white Renault.
