On Friday afternoon, July 31, 2020, a fire broke out in Sidi Bou Said hill in the northern suburb of the capital, especially on the beach road. The fire spread in two relatively large areas.
Civil protection units have just intervened to extinguish it. Causes have yet to be determined.
