In an exclusive interview with “Tunisie Numérique,” Ennahdha’s General Secretary Ali Laarayedh positively affirmed that Rached Ghannouchi recommended Abdelfattah Mourou to represent the party in the presidential race.
Laarayedh proceeded to promptly declare that Ghannouchi refused to nominate himself despite topping the party‘s electoral list.
