Speaking to Shems FM on Wednesday, September 23, the mayor estimated that “the country is currently experiencing an exceptional situation which allows the names of people positive for Covid-19 to be published, in order to protect them and protect other citizens. ”
For his part, Chawki Gaddes, the president of the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (INPDP), assured that “the publication of the names of people with the coronavirus is a violation of the law. ”
