President of the republic Kais Saied received a delegation composed of Democratic current secretary-general Ghazi Chaouachi and his vice president Mohamed Hammadi to consult the movement’s initiative on calling for a national, economic and social dialogue under the auspices of the President of the Republic as he is a symbol of the country’s unity.
According to a statement by the democratic current, the meeting also addressed the country’s general situation and the need to consolidate effort to save the county.
The head of the state welcomed the initiative and interacted positively with it. It was agreed to continue consultation on mechanisms to execute the initiative.
