The team of World Health Organization specialists investigating the origins of the coronavirus pandemic visited the Wuhan seafood market at the centre of the global health crisis on Sunday during their visit to China.
The food market, where the first cases of COVID-19 emerged, has been closed since December 31, 2019.
The team arrived in China more than two weeks ago but was obliged to quarantine upon arrival. They have answered no reporters’ questions so far and are accompanied by heavy security everywhere they go.
