In an open letter to national and international public opinion, 30 national personalities expressed their support for the latest decisions adopted by President of the republic Kais Saied concerning the activation of Article 80 of the Constitution.
According to the same source, the signatories of the letter declared that the activation of article 80 does not constitute a coup d’etat, stipulating that this decision was taken in response to the demands of the Tunisian people.
Among the signatories of the letter: Olfa Youssef, Youssef Seddik, Saloua and Mounir Charfi and Lassâad Jammoussi.
