The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, met on April 2, 2022, with prime minister Najla Bouden and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Othman Jerandi at Carthage Palace.
The meeting concentrated on the social and economic situation and the necessity to meet the needs of citizens during Ramadan. “the battle against speculation should target, in the first place, the big speculators and not be pleased with controlling small traders from time to time”, declares the President of the Republic.
Political and economic ties between Tunisia and several other nations and preparations for the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 8) were also on the agenda.
