New Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives (HPR), Rached Ghannouchi presided over an official meeting at Bardo palace between representatives of parliamentary parties and Coalitions .
He emphasised the need to prioritize examination of the draft finance law and state budget for 2020 as well as the draft supplementary finance law for 2019.
He pointed out the legal deadlines for the examination and approval of these bills is set for next December 10.
The meeting further proposed the establishment of a provisional committee to review these draft laws, under the HPR’s laws. The scheme will be reviewed in plenary session on Monday, November 18, 2019.
