The public prosecutor at the court of first instance of Sousse 2 yesterday ordered the detention of the political activist, Bechir Yousfi. Attorney Samir Ben Amor confirmed in a statement to Tunisie Numérique that the arrest of his client comes following his position which opposes the decisions of the President of the Republic, Kais Saied rejecting the information circulating on social networks that he would be implicated in the case of the production company known as Instalingo.
The speaker added that his client and other suspects implicated in the Instalingo case will appear in court today. It should be stated that one of the detainees disclosed that Bechir Youssfi organizes the gatherings of “Citizens against Coup” through social networks in order to bring down the project of the Head of State Kais Saied.
