As reported, Namibia, Tunisia’s first opponent in Group E of AFCON 2024, is in training in Ghana and will play its first friendly match against Legon Cities FC. The Namibians narrowly avoided a loss against the 8th team in the Ghanaian championship this Tuesday (1-1). The Ghanaian team played the move perfectly, via Kwabena Boateng (60′) hence materializing one of its rare offensive situations and remaining impervious defensively.
But striker Bethuel Muzeu, playing for Black Leopards Venda (South Africa), saved his team and permitted the Brave Warriors to come back to score with a penalty at the very end of the match (90+1′). As a reminder, Namibia will officially face Ghana on Monday, January 8 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, starting at 8:00 p.m.
