The preliminary round return matches of the AFCON 2025qualifiers were on the program on Tuesday, at the end of which the qualification of the following teams was registered (in bold; in parentheses, the first leg score):
Eswatini 2-2 Somalia (3-0)
Mauritius 1-2 Chad (0-1)
Liberia 0-0 Djibouti (2-0)
South Sudan 0-0 Sao Tome and Principe (1-1).
These 4 teams join the 44 highest-ranked selections in the FIFA rankings, which were excused from the first round. CAF will soon reveal the date of the draw for the group stage of the qualifiers.
