United States President Joe Biden tested positive for COVID-19, the White House revealed on Thursday. He is “experiencing very mild symptoms,” having been fully vaccinated and boosted, according to Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
Biden has begun taking COVID-19 treatment Paxlovid and will go into self-isolation until he tests negative. He will continue to carry out all of his duties fully, including via phone and Zoom, Jean-Pierre stated.
