The Ministry of Health, on Monday , announced 7,348 more infections with the coronavirus recorded on October 23 and 24, out of 3,243 tests performed, bringing the total number of cases recorded to 52,399.
The same source said 58 people died y from the virus, bringing the number of fatalities recorded since the outbreak to 983 , noting that the mortality rate per 100 thousand inhabitants stands at 8.29%.
The number of patients hospitalised on 24 October 2020 reached 124 cases, bringing the total number to 2390 . Patients admitted to ICUs are up to 213(+44) while 106 (+4) are on life support.
