Italy has announced 627 more coronavirus deaths, the biggest day-to-day increase in the country’s four-week epidemic.
The Mediterranean nation has been the worst afflicted country in the world for fatalities related to the Covid-19 virus, which has claimed the lives of more than 4,000 people in the region.
