Coronavirus: Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak tests positive for COVID-19

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak has tested positive for the coronavirus, Reuters reported Tuesday according to Russian news source Interfax, citing Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Novak will join Wednesday’s Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) meeting via video link, the energy ministry later said, Reuters added.

The ministry noted that Novak is feeling well and currently has no symptoms of COVID-19.
