Death count after Japan’s earthquake up to 110

Japanese authorities updated on Saturday the total death toll in the January 1 earthquake that struck the Ishikawa Prefecture, bringing it to 110. Around 100 people are still trapped under rubble, while some 211 people have been reported as missing.

According to Kyodo News, around 66,000 households in 14 towns in the region are still without water supply, and around 24,000 households are without power.
