On Saturday, around a thousand people marched through the roads of Copenhagen to voice solidarity with the Palestinians. Allowed but under increased police surveillance, this march brought together participants of all ages, including families, proudly displaying Palestinian flags and signs demanding powerful messages such as “A genocide is happening” or “Stop killing innocent Palestinian children.”
The demonstration likewise saw slogans chanted, including “Long live Palestine” and “Down USA, down Netanyahu.” The mobilization mirrors the international community’s concern over the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, highlighting calls for a ceasefire and a peaceful solution to the crisis.
