Egypt is closely monitoring the situation around the town of Rafah in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, Al Qahera News TV channel reported on Monday, citing a high-ranking source familiar with the matter.
According to the source, the country is ready for “all scenarios.”
Earlier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt Sameh Shoukry said that his country is “committed to the peace agreement with Israel.”
