Football Tunisia: Weekly review of Tunisian expatriates

The results: Mohamed Dräger glows with another goal with FC Lucerne, Ali Abdi still scorer in Ligue 2 with SM Caen, the 8th goal for Haythem Jouini in Libya, and ultimately Ali Maaloul still finds the podium at the World Cup clubs 2022.

 

We begin with Ali Maaloul and his club Al Ahly who won the bronze medal at the Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, after defeating their Saudi counterparts Al Hilal (4-0). Maaloul provided the decisive pass on the first goal scored by Hamdi Fathi. Let’s move on to the French Ligue 2, Ali Abdi achieved his club’s 4th goal in the 56th minute during SM Caen’s big victory against Nîmes (4-0), on behalf of the 24th day. It’s his first goal of the season. From France to Libya, where former Espérance striker Haythem Jouini consolidated his status as top scorer in the championship with his 8th goal in 10 days. Jouini achieved the second goal for his team Ahly Benghazi, winner of Khalij Sirt (4-0).

Finally, the recent rookie of the Swiss Super League, Mohamed Dräger glows with his talent with his club, FC Lucerne by winning a special victory against Sion (1-0), following an assist from the Tunisian international. Dräger had scored two goals in two matches, namely: the first against Lugano on the occasion of the 20th day and the second in the Swiss Cup against Biel-Bienne.
