Residents of the Zarawa Zone in Gabes today organized a protest in front of the headquarters of the National Water Exploitation and Distribution Company (SONEDE) in Gabes.
This demonstration was organized to command the right of access to drinking water.
The demonstrators called on the local authorities to intervene and take concrete decisions in order to put a close to the problems of distribution of drinking water.
They denounced broken vows by officials, stating the situation is intolerable given the pandemic and rising temperatures.
