Data from India’s Health and Family Welfare Ministry showed 45,231 people tested positive for the coronavirus disease in the country on Sunday.
The nation’s total rises to 8,229,313 with the newly recorded infections included, while its COVID-19 death toll increased to 122,607 after the health officials confirmed 496 additional virus-related fatalities.
