Accused by some of having appealed to foreign intervention in the internal affairs of the nation, the spokesperson of the Ennahdha party announced today that being attacked for having defended Tunisia and explained what is occurring there to the World Conference of Speakers of Parliament did not bother him.
Recalling that Tunisia is a member of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Ayadi examined that it had the right to be represented, and as Rached Ghannouchi could not go there (travel ban), he named him and Osama Khlifi because they were already abroad.
“We have come back to say that a return to a democratic framework is possible,” he said. Ayadi said he took the chance to discuss the freezing of parliament, the constitution and the situation in Tunisia in general.
