Italian health authorities announced on Saturday that 194 people have died from contracting in the last 24 hours, increasing the death toll to 30,395.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases rose by 1,083 since yesterday to reach 218,268.
Meanwhile, 103,031 Italian were discharged from hospitals after they recovered.
