A spokesperson for the government of Jordan told Jordan TV, the kingdom’s public broadcaster, that the recent attack resulting in the deaths of three United States service members occurred outside of its borders.
The spokesperson clarified that the assault specifically targeted the al-Tanf base in Syria, emphasizing that the base is not located in the country as previously reported.
