The Libyan House of Representatives, currently based in Tobruk, accepted to hold a plenary session in Sirte in order to carry out a vote of confidence in the new interim government.
A total of 97 Libyan MPs assembled in Sabratha in the west of Libya decided at the conclusion of their meetings on Tuesday evening to set next Monday and Tuesday as the date for the plenary intended to establish the modalities for voting confidence in the new government of national unity responsible for managing the transition till the elections of 24 December 2021.
