North Korea launched a ballistic missile toward the East Sea, the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) announced.
Japan Coast Guard noted that the launched missile had probably already fallen. No additional information was given.
Earlier, North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un stated that the “primary duty” of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) is to prepare for war.
