Ons Jabeur (10th in the WTA rankings) starts her participation in the WTA 1000 tournament in Indian Wells tomorrow. Exempted from the 1st round, she encounters this Saturday, March 12, Australian Daria Saville, 409th in the world.
Jabeur has already faced her opponent of the day three times in the past with two successes, at the Roland Garros Junior tournament in 2011 and in Baku in 2013 for a defeat in Charleston in 2018.
In case of victory, she should face either the Belgian Elise Mertens (23rd) or the Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk (54th) in the 2nd round.
