According to calculations by the Sciences City, the holy month of Ramadan will start on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. In a press release issued this Wednesday, February 21, the institution specifies that the lunar crescent of Ramadan will not be observable to the eye naked from Africa and Europe around March 10.
The text adds that the crescent declaring the start of the holy month can only be spotted with a telescope and exclusively from the American continent.
