The Ministry of Social Affairs reported today, in a press release, that it had decided to rise the allocations allocated to its intervention and assistance program for poor and low-income families, during the holy month of Ramadan. , executed by the Tunisian Union for Social Solidarity through:
– Rise in the number of aid in kind (Ramadan basket) from 45,000 to 65,000 baskets, an addition of 20,000 aid in kind, with an allocation of around 2 million dinars.
– Monetary transfers for the profit of disabled people from needy families for 100 dinars, including one hundred priority beneficiaries in each State of the Republic.
It should be remarked that the ministry allocated financial transfers for the benefit of all poor families amounting to 120 dinars in two instalments on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
In this context, the Minister of Social Affairs, Malek Al-Zahi, emphasised that this aid will be channelled as quickly as possible to those who deserve it, with complete respect for their privacy, and that the month of Ramadan will be another opportunity to confirm the responsibility of the State in all stages and on every square centimetre of the soil of the Republic, according to the communication.
