In the opening match of the Riyadh Season Foot Cup 2024, Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal clashed with America’s Inter Miami, featuring Lionel Messi. The thrilling game ended with a 4-3 win for Al Hilal.
Al Hilal’s goals were earned by Aleksandar Mitrović in the 10th minute, Abdullah Al Hamdan in the 13th minute, Michael in the 44th minute (video), and Malcom in the 88th minute. For Inter Miami, Lionel Messi achieved a penalty in the 54th minute, following Luis Suárez’s goal in the 34th minute and preceding David Ruiz’s goal in the 55th minute.
It’s worth noting that two more games remain in this tournament. The first, dubbed “The Last Dance” between Al Nassr and Inter Miami, features a showdown between Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7) and Messi. This match is planned for Thursday, February 1st, and will be broadcast live and unencrypted on beIN SPORTS FTA from 7:00 p.m. HT. The second match, a Saudi derby between Al Hilal and Al Nassr, is set for Thursday, February 8th, at 7:00 p.m. HT.
