The Russian Defense Ministry noted on Wednesday the country’s troops have taken full control over the Ukrainian city of Kherson shortly after attacking it.
“Civil infrastructure, life support facilities for the population and urban transport operate on a daily basis. The city does not experience shortages of food and essential goods,” the ministry’s representative Igor Konashenkov told reporters. A port on the Black Sea, Kherson is considered a city of regional significance due to its shipbuilding industry.
