The United States House of Representatives passed significant bills as part of its foreign aid package to assist Ukraine and Israel, after already approving the Indo-Pacific aid and a call for a TikTok ban.
The Ukraine package allocates $60.84 billion for Kyiv and its regional partners, with about $23 billion designated to replenish US weapons and facilities and over $11 billion for ongoing military operations in the region. It was approved with a vote of 311-112, sending it to the Senate for further consideration.
In a separate move, the House approved a $26 billion aid package for Israel in a 366-58 vote. It includes funding for missile defence systems, humanitarian assistance and procurement of advanced weapons systems.
