RUSSIA’S MISSILE TERROR
– On December 29, Russia attacked many cities of Ukraine with missiles and drones. Russia has once again confirmed its reputation as a terrorist state. Its attacks on Ukrainian cities are no different from the Nazi bombing of London during World War II.
– The record-breaking enemy attack before the New Year aimed to kill and injure as many peaceful Ukrainians as possible, to demoralize Ukrainian society.
– The Ukrainian air defence has once again proved its skill, saving hundreds of lives of civilians, disrupting Russia’s bloody plans.
RESULTS OF 2023
– Ukraine survived another year of the full-scale invasion, destroying the dreams of the ruscists about the “blitzkrieg.” Russia has achieved nothing at the front except colossal losses of its soldiers and military equipment. The beginning of the next year will mark a decade since the start of Russian aggression. Every day for Ukrainians is a day of struggle, invincibility, and faith in victory.
– Ukraine has settled into the wartime rhythm and is readjusting for a long confrontation with the aggressor. The capacities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex are launched, the resources and reserves of the country are optimized. Ukraine is preparing the necessary margin of safety.
– Throughout the year, the Defence Forces had brilliant achievements. Ukraine cleared the sea from the enemy fleet and launched a grain corridor, strengthened the protection of the sky. The military campaign of 2023 was a lesson for both Ukraine and its allies. Future combat operations are planned with lessons learned in mind.
RUSSIA’S RECRUITMENT OF MERCENARIES FROM AFRICA
– Russia is recruiting mercenaries from Africa for the war against Ukraine because Russia lacks its own human resources to take over Ukraine, especially considering the tactics of using personnel as “cannon fodder.”
– Russia has turned the killing of Ukrainians into a business, recruiting mercenaries around the world ready to commit crimes for money. Russia makes full use of the factor of poverty, social vulnerability, and legal insecurity of certain categories of the population.
– Russia pretends to be a friend and ally of Africa, but Russia’s real interest in the continent is natural resources and cheap “cannon fodder.”
– Ukraine calls on the governments of African countries to oppose the recruitment of their citizens to participate in Russia’s colonial war against Ukraine.
