The number of people that tested positive for coronavirus in Russia reached another record on Saturday, with 33,208 new infections being detected in the past 24 hours. This brings the total of cases to 7,958,384.
Daily fatalities were also at another peak of 1,002, with the overall death toll reaching 222,315.
