The distribution of social aid dedicated to poor and low-income families started yesterday, Saturday, March 9, in the governorate of Siliana, a few days before the beginning of the month of Ramadan. 2,000 baskets whose total value is assessed at 200 thousand dinars (100 dinars per basket) were given to the needy, the regional coordinator of social solidarity in Siliana, Ridha Bahrini, told TAP.
He added that the aid will be allocated at a rate of 200 baskets for each of the delegations of Siliana-North and South, Makthar and Errouhia; 150 baskets are dedicated to other delegations.
In addition, 6 Iftar tables will be set up for 230 residents of the town of Siliana and delegations from Gaâfour, Bou Arada, Errouhia, El Krib and Makthar during the holy month. Price of the operation: 69 thousand dinars, indicated by the same source.
Finally, about 500 additional aid items, with a total value of 12.5 thousand dinars, were given to the governorate of Siliana and will be distributed in the second half of the month of Ramadan, according to the regional coordinator of social solidarity.
